COMPLAINTS HANDLER / PPI / BRISTOL

Our Client, a UK leader in the banking industry, is currently recruiting for a number of new Complaint Handlers to join their existing team based in Bristol.

What will you be doing in this role?

The primary focus of this position is to act as a Complaints Handler for customers that may have been mis-sold products and / or services.

Your main deliverables in this role will be

- Receiving written correspondence from customers and investigating whether their claims are accurate
- Respond to the customer (phone and written) and ensure customer data is updated as required
- Upon completion of the above make a decision as to the bank should start/continue the relationship with the customer or not and document this appropriately.
- To identify problem cases and recommend appropriate courses of action to minimise risk to the bank or pass to the complex team for review.

What will you need to be successful in this role?

In order to succeed in this role, you will have previous experience working within a similar role and have knowledge of working in a finance / banking environment.

Any other information?

- This position will be on a temporary basis to start ASAP for a 3 month duration
- You will be required to work full-time hours
- You will be based in the Bristol office so must be able to easily get there.
