Cunninghame Housing Association is one of Ayrshire’s leading registered social landlords providing services for more than 2,500 properties in North and East Ayrshire. The Association aims to achieve excellence in service delivery to its customers and to assist in this we are looking to recruit highly motivated individuals in the following position:

Property Services Department:

  • Post: Senior Repairs Assistant
  • Grade: Grade 6 (PA17 - PA20)
  • Salary: £26,748 - £29,241
  • 35 hours per week

Reporting to the Asset Manager, you will lead, develop and proactively supervise the Repairs Team to ensure the delivery of an effective repairs service to the Association’s customers and stakeholders. The post holder will oversee the day to day clerical and administration tasks within the Function, as well as offering support to a team of Property Maintenance Officers to ensure consistent, effective and efficient operation, contributing towards key and team targets and operational objectives of the Deparment.

You will have a strong customer service focus and extensive experience of dealing with the public. The ability to demonstrate supervisory experience in a similar repairs environment is essential. Previous experience in a similar role will complement your excellent team working, communication, organisational and administration skills. The successful candidate must be IT literate in a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office and previous experience of repairs and maintenance software in particular Capita repairs and maintenance system would be advantageous.(Previous applicants need not apply)
