Step Forward Tees Valley 
Step Forward Tees Valley is an exciting new employment programme in Tees Valley jointly funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund until July 2019.  Working in partnership with 23 voluntary and community sector delivery partners who are specialists in employment, financial and digital inclusion and volunteering, Step Forward Tees Valley will support 2500 long term unemployed people into or towards employment.

Groundwork will provide 1:1 support to people who are long term unemployed to help them move towards and access training and employment. By providing intensive support and advice, the team will help each participant develop a tailored action plan and identify how this can be best met through existing services and/or via Step Forward Tees Valleys health, employment, financial and digital inclusion services.

Navigator
Salary:
Circa £21,000 per annum (Negotiable dependent upon experience)
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week
Location: Redcar

As a Navigator you would be responsible for supporting participants through every stage in their journey, addressing barriers and introducing activities to support progression.

Essential Skills:

  • Exceptional people and communication skills
  • Experience of undertaking caseload management on employability programmes
  • A proven track record in delivering targets
