This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a successful and well established chartered building surveying practice located in Reigate.
This is a critical role supporting the building surveyors to deliver a quality service, maintaining the high standards upon which the company has built its reputation.

The role will involve:
• Audio and copy typing
• Producing and amending reports, specifications, technical documents, letters and emails
• Preparing and issuing tender documentation
• Preparing and collating photographs in documents, such as photograph albums Printing, collating, binding and issuing a variety of documents
• Managing filing to include electronic, paper and archive files
• Liaising with suppliers and undertaking other administration tasks to ensure the efficient running of the office
• Dealing with post, couriers and telephone calls
As the ideal candidate you will be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills. You must have excellent typing skills with the ability to deliver fast and accurate audio and copy typing. You must be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint packages and be able to use digital dictation systems for audio typing, preferably DSS.
You should have good interpersonal skills and be able to confidently interact with clients, staff, suppliers and external contacts and be able to remain calm and prioritise and complete work under pressure.
As part of a small but growing dynamic team you must be prepared to undertake general administration tasks as required to support in the smooth running and growth of the company.
Qualities we are particularly seeking include being able to manage your workload, have excellent organisational skills, self-motivation, ability to demonstrate initiative and delivering high quality in an efficient and timely manner, often working to deadlines.
A minimum of least 3 years' experience in a professional setting is essential and experience in the surveying/construction industry would be beneficial, although not essential.
