Marketing Executive - Service & Retention

Leeds Building Society is looking for a Marketing Executive - Service & Retention to join our Customer and Digital department, based at our Head Office in the heart of Leeds city centre.

About the role

The Marketing Executive - Service & Retention will effectively deliver and implement all sales, service and regulatory communications activities to existing members to maximize brand advocacy, cross-sales and retention. Duties include the day to day delivery of B2C sales and service communication and campaigns to existing members. You will develop and implement engaging collateral to support customer retention including base stationary, printed literature and promotional communications.

Key Accountabilities

- Provide support as necessary for the day to day delivery of the Society's retail savings maturity and legislative communications
- To build positive relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure maximum campaign effectiveness
- Supporting senior team members in ensuring the effective implementation of the brand development and legislative activities
- To use insight to inform the development of campaigns, communications and marketing collateral.
- To ensure all activity meets legislative requirements and adheres to Society sign off procedures
- To maintain effective day to day relationships with third party providers as required (Aviva/L&G/EPG/Dignity etc.)
- To maintain effective day to day relationships with external agencies including but not limited to: design/research/marcomms/print/fulfilment houses
- Management of in house mailings

Essential Skills and Experience

- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Working knowledge of marketing print fulfilment and/or email broadcast processes
- Good planning, organisation and communication skills essential
- Experience of managing third party supplier relationships
- Knowledge of marketing analytics would be an advantage
- Attention to detail
- Ability to be a self-starter as well as a team player
- A recognised marketing qualification would be an advantage. Educated to A-Level standard, or equivalent
- Database/analysis knowledge and experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
