Blind Fitter

We are looking for a new, enthusiastic member to join our small, friendly team to help sell, make and fit the blinds for our customers as the company grows.

The successful applicant will be expected to visit customers and provide advice and quotes on products.

Responsibilities:

• To fit bespoke made to measure blinds in customer’s homes/premises
• To provide an excellent level of customer service whilst bringing the customers interior room ideas to life
• Greeting Customers in their homes in a professional and friendly manner
• Working as a team with the team to ensure all customer appointments are delivered on time and any outstanding actions are followed up and delivered within agreed timescales
• Communicate with both the customer and the team to clearly explain any technical challenges in a way they will understand

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

• Full UK driving license (Work van and tools will be provided)
• Previous experience of working with power tools and variety of materials
• Good sound working knowledge of Health & Safety
• Previous experience of fitting domestic products in the customers’ home (any type of background will be considered)
• Be able to work alone but also be able to work well in a team
• Ability to plan and manage time effectively
• Flexibility in working hours to cover appointments during the day, evenings & weekends

Desirable:

• Previous experience of fitting blinds or curtains in customers’ homes
• Ability to accurately measure final sizes for curtains, blinds, tracks etc
