The UK's largest supplier of industrial gases, speciality gases and gas equipment have asked The Redline Group to search for a new Project Office Manager - Chemical Processing based in the Guilford, Surrey area.
This company has a turnover of almostEUR13 billion and have offices and gas processing facilities across the globe. My client is a truly global business with an excess of 50,000 employees. They enjoy excellent staff retention and invest heavily in the ongoing training and development of staff, supporting further education and offering bespoke training.
This year has seen some considerable changes and growth in the organisation and after hiring a number of new Project Engineers and Project Managers, they now require a Project Office Manager - Chemical Processing to join their growing team. This position is due to growth after another year of unprecedented success in a market that is still recovering from the huge oil and gas and steel crisis.
You will be tasked with managing a team of Project Engineers in Guilford, Surrey to deliver the programme of approved engineering projects assigned to them safely, on time and on budget to meet the needs of the business.
They are looking to pay a highly competitive salary and offer an exceptional benefits and bonus scheme.
The ideal Project Office Manager - Chemical Processing will have:
-At least 5 years project management experience in chemical processing / chemical or nuclear operations including projects in value of >GBP1M
-Knowledge of engineering practices/contracting/project management
-Strong communication & influencing skills
-Engineering Degree or equivalent
-Association of project Managers (APM) qualifications (desirable)
