Experienced MOT Tester
We are currently recruiting for a qualified MOT Tester based in Stafford for our presitgious main dealer.
MOT Testing experience and Qualifications:
Active VOSA smart card required.
Ideally to level 3 in City Guilds, BTEC, NVQ, IMI etc. However provable time served Technicians will be considered.
Full driving licence essential
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To carry out MOT test reporting faults accurately and complete all paperwork according to statutory requirements.
To maintain up to date and accurate records.
To ensure that times are recorded as requested by management.
To attend internal and external training courses, as directed by the management.
To keep their place of work in a tidy and clean condition.
To advise the STM of any additional work necessary on a car during service.
To ensure parts of warranty claims are retained and are cleaned and drained of oil, where necessary and to ensure exchange parts are returned to Parts Department when required.
To be prepared to work overtime, with reasonable notice, if requested by the management.
To ensure that the vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken of that vehicle on the premises for repair or service.
To maintain and develop skill levels in all aspects of repair, service and maintenance of vehicles.
Salary is negotiable on experience.
