The Company:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious hospitality company based in the Cardiff area. They are now looking to recruit an Events Sales Coordinator due to the continued expansion of the team and this presents the perfect opportunity who has the hunger and ambition to grow with this exciting organisation.
Responsibilities:
* Working within a busy office environment speaking with prospective clients over the phone and face to face about bookings of the venue
* Selling the venue for a variety of occasions for both leisure and business
* Undertake all administrative tasks that are required from the sale to the function sheet.
* Have a good knowledge of company plans, facilities and objectives to be able to deal with staff and customer queries efficiently and effectively.
* Assist and support the team in creating and maintaining quality standards in customer service; delivery and presentation of products and in meeting all relevant company objectives.
* Communicate positively with staff and customers to ensure and maintain effective teamwork and high standards of morale.
* Support all Managers in the creation and supply of promotional material for the benefit of all areas of the business.
Experience Required:
* Current experience of working within an Administration and New Business Sales environment
* Experience of working under pressure to meet strict deadlines and targets
* Highly computer literate with MS Office
* Someone with an interest in Events
* Must have own car (free parking available)
