Mechanical Design Engineer

My Client Castlet Ltd is an independently owned company based in Lincoln, with 30 employees. They manufacture a wide range of high quality products, notably in the Power Control and Aerospace markets. They export 70% of our their products world wide with a good reputation within their core markets.

Due to continued growth driven by research and development, the company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer, who can oversee the development of prototype equipment through to a finished and saleable product.

This job role will include Project Management, Solid modelling, Ansys simulation - heat dissipation, vibration, shock loading and application of findings.

Experience and qualifications required would include the following: -

• Degree in mechanical engineering
• Minimum two years industry experience preferred
• Proven experience of
• Proven experience of AutoCAD
• Experience of Ansys is essential
• Experience of component design
• Some knowledge of marine applications would be useful
• Experience in modern material applications & manufacturing techniques
