Scaffolding Estimator
This is an opportunity to join an established company within the scaffolding industry, offering solutions to complex projects in London and the South East who are currently seeking an experienced Scaffold Estimator to join their team.
They require the following attributes to ensure effortless integration into the company structure and their existing client base:
- Be self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Driven to achieve targets to maximise growth.
- Have extensive experience in the scaffolding industry.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of SMART would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
- Be thorough and competent.
- Ability to work under pressure as part of a team.
Main responsibilities will involve:
- Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Operations Department.
- Attend site meetings to gain all relevant information, dimensions, drawings and contacts.
- Preparing tender submissions.
- Review all estimates and present to MD for review.
- Develop and maintain Client relationships to maximise business potential.
- Maintain industry knowledge to ensure competitive quotations.
- Ensure submission dates are met.
