At Linc-Cymru, we put the people who use our services at the heart of our business, giving our tenants and residents a real say in the services we deliver.   We make a big contribution to our local economy, and we want our contribution to go even further.    As a result, we are looking for someone for our brand new post of Community Benefits Officer, to work within our community engagement team.  You will work right across all areas of the business, but mainly with Linc Homes, Asset Management and our Development Team.  You need to be outgoing and confident, and have a natural ability to engage with a wide range of audiences.  Whether that is working directly with our contractors to influence their approach to community benefits, or delivering an innovative workshop to a group of schoolchildren.

Aside from the ability to present and engage with lots of different groups, you will also have an eye for detail.  You will be responsible for capturing a wide range of community benefits, and supporting our supply chain to maximise what they deliver.  As part of the role, you will source additional grant funding where appropriate, to further support our developments and communities.

Your duties will include:

-              Capturing the range of community benefits delivered via our contracts.  This will be done from a range of monitoring tools including the Value Wales Toolkit

-              Engaging with community groups, schools, contractors, funders and external partners

-              Being the first point of contact for specific target groups who may benefit from the opportunities, including NEETS and underrepresented groups

-              Applying for grant funding to enhance developments, community facilities and opportunities for tenants

-              To support our contracts to deliver meaningful community benefits as part of their contract with Linc

This new post will be a central point of contact for a wide range of partners in respect of community benefits, and will provide the successful applicant with an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the local community.

The role is a full time position of 37 hours per week, fixed term for 1 year subject to review.

An Essential Car User payment of £1,239.00 per year applies to this position.

Closing date is 30th April at 23:59
