Data Analytics Consultant

FINTEC recruit is seeking A Data Analytics Consultant for our client who provides expert business intelligence and visualisation services and data insights. This is a permanent role based in Edinburgh or can be home based in Scotland. This is a role which is customer facing and as such, great communication skills are very important. If you have contributed to Kaggle, Tableau Public forums this is an advantage. There will be travel to client premises with this role. Competitive salary.

Responsibilities of the Data Analytics Consultant position:-

• Giving advice to clients on work with a range of Data Analysis tools including; Tableau, Alteryx, Logi Info, Microsoft BI Stack
• Be a conduit between technical and non-technical clients resolving database queries
• Providing customer-ready visualisations This is a role which is customer facing and as such, soft skills are very important. There are also a number of technical skills checkboxes which we need to tick:

Skills and Experience required:-

• Back end experience with skills in SQL, Python, e.Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib for data analysis and ETL work
• Experience with Scikit, Tensorflow and other statistical and machine learning modules desirable but not an essential.
• Experience of visualisation tools to communicate data
• Have previously worked in an agile environment (Front End and/or Back End)
• Experience in predictive analytics and statistics
• Tableau accreditation or willing to work towards
