LOCATION: Havant, Hampshire
JOB TITLE: RoadPlaner Operator
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive salary dependent on previous skills & experience
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday to Friday - overtime available but not compulsory
THE COMPANY: Our client is a road surfacing contractor with over 50 years in business. With the ability to work on the smallest patch to the largest of contracts such as football stadiums and major supermarket car parks, no job is too big or too small for our client, who covers the Havant, Hampshire and wide range of other areas in the South of England.
Our client provides all of their awarded jobs with their own plant, fleet and operatives and pride themselves on their quality assured work. Due to current expansion they now seek an experienced Road Planer Operator to join their existing team to operate a brand new Wirtgen W100 CFI Planer with VCS Extraction system.
THE ROLE: As a Road Planer Operator you will be the operator of a brand newWirtgen W100 CFI Planer with VCS Extraction system where you will be required to report to our clients head office site in Havant, Hampshire where you will be required to go out to visit a site or numerous sites daily to excavate roads using the Road Planer. You will be the sole operator of the Road Planer so must have previous experience as a Road Planer Operator.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Road Planner Operator's role must live in or be able to commute to Havant Hampshire and must have a valid CSCS card. It is essential you have proven experience operating a Road Planner and excavating roads, ideally with a Wirtgen W100 CFI Planer. It is essential you have a good work ethic and can work well unsupervised using your own initiative.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Road Planer Operator role in Havant , Hampshire :-
- Must have previous experience as a Road Planer Operator or operating a Road Planner
- Must have valid CSCS card
- Must live within or be able to commute to Havant, Hampshire
- Previous experience operating a Wirtgen W100 CFI Planer would be a huge advantage
