Linsco Recruitments Freelance division is currently looking for a Document Controller for an immediate start in Bristol.
Main Duties:
* Control flow of all drawing information both in house and to and from clients and suppliers
* Recording and transmitting drawings from 'approval' through to 'as built' issue.
* Sending RFIs and drawing requests
* Chasing all RFIs weekly and updating relevant designer
* Uploading approved drawings to companies ERP system and notifying relevant project managers
* Adding new fabricated items and specialist fixings to ERP system prior to procurement
* Issue of standardised details on request
* Record and minute handover meetings between sales and contracts.
* Feed the above information in to a 'live' programme that gives the team the latest project status.
* Issue memo's re deadlines or unactioned items to designers or contracts managers
* Attend weekly update meeting between contracts team
* Carry out monthly audits of our systems to ensure they are being correctly followed.
Key Skills
* Demonstrates a track record of success, achievement and learning in career to date, adding value within relevant positions.
* IT literate and able to adapt skills to use new IT packages.
* Experience of successful coordination of Document Control & Record Management activities across multiple projects and project resources.
* Experience on setting up and operation of document management systems.
* Enthusiastic and highly motivated, keen to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
* Ability to learn, adapt and thrive, delivering value in a changing and evolving organisation
