Paraplanner(s) required, Wealth Management Sector - Chester

Our client in the Financial Planning and Wealth Management sector is currently looking for a number of Paraplanners to join them on a permanent staff basis. This will be to work in an office in the Chester region.

There is the potential for a number of hires at once and these will be on a permanent staff, full time basis with a regular 37.5 hour week. Salaries are negotiable to prior level of experience with career advancement opportunities available, however candidates must be prepared to work at a Paraplanner level for a couple of years - but with progression to Senior and Lead levels potential available within this.

Paraplanner, Para-Planner, Paraplanning - Wealth Management:

Purpose:
Assist Financial Planners in reviewing, analysing and preparing compliant financial plans for clients that verify the recommendations made and are in accordance with the SWM Investment philosophy. Support Planner's in developing and maintaining a library of standard wording/reports for use in preparing client reports.

Professional Skills & Experience:
3+ years financial services experience
Must be qualified to level 4 in Providing Financial Advice
Previous paraplanning experience essential
Must hold a certificate in Financial Planning as a minimum, a Diploma in Financial Planning is desirable

Key Tasks:
•Prepare fully compliant reports for Adviser's clients, supporting the recommendations made.
•Conduct all Succession Annual Reviews in line with SLA's
•Create and maintain, a 'Best Product' Panel to be used in the recommendation process.
•Create and maintain the report writing/standard wordings library.
•Consider the various online facilities offered by product providers and select the ones that would be most beneficial
•If applicable, review file notes and issue clear instruction of requirements to admin
•Update and maintain the PPU workflow and AO activities as and when required
•Participate in regular 1to1's
•Maintain CPD
