This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, within the School of Pharmacy.

Applications are invited for the post of Undergraduate Senior Administrator within the School of Pharmacy.  The post-holder will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support to the undergraduate programmes.  Support will be required in three key areas, timetabling, co-ordination of the Objective Structured Clinical Examinations and the course accreditation process overseen by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

You will have the ability to communicate both face-to-face and on the telephone with students, staff at all levels within the School/across campus and with outside agencies.  Time management and an ability to prioritise a diverse workload are important in order to be able to accurately process multiple tasks within specified timescales.  You will be working in a busy and fast moving environment and should possess initiative, drive and commitment.  The ability to be a team player is paramount, whilst also being able to operate with minimum supervision.

You must be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, as well as holding GCSE Mathematics and English at grades C or above, or equivalent qualifications or equivalent relevant experience.  Having an academic/diploma qualification in Business Administration would be an advantage.  Original certificates must be provided at interview.

Extensive experience of working in a similar role is essential.  You should be a proficient user of Microsoft Office in the workplace, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  The ability to support occasional weekend or evening work is also essential.
