The Cleansing Service Group is a growing waste management company specialising in chemical waste transport and disposal. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join this national, award winning company.
This is an exciting time to join our team; we are currently expanding due to our strong standing within the industry and excellent reputation for the quality.
Job Role
- Control and manage debtors in own area of responsibility to ensure that credit given to customers is monitored and collected to the agreed payment terms.
- To control specific accounts within the sales ledger. To facilitate high level cash - flow and minimize levels of overdue debt.
Carry out daily administration duties to the required company standards.
- Issuing monthly statements
- Processing of cheques, bank transfers and credit/debit card payments onto system
- Processing reminder letters using mail merge
- Investigate and resolve customer queries in a timely manner.
- Liaise with other departments to deliver good customer service
- Ensure that all queries are followed up in a timely manner.
- Preparing accounts to be passed to Solicitors or debt collection agency
Person Specification:
- Confident telephone manner and ability to provide first class customer service
- Strong organisation and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, busy environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
- Credit control experience is essential
