Passionate about great places to live. Our client develops a range of new homes - for rent, shared ownership, and sale - and provides housing management, care and support, and commercial property services.
They currently have an opportunity for a Multi Trade Operative (Heating) to join their Gas team. You will have responsibility for undertaking a range of maintenance on their heating and plumbing systems to ensure their properties are maintained to a high standard.
You will be working on the day to day maintenance of the properties relating to heating issue. Duties will include carrying out cost effective repairs to the properties, liaising with customers to ensure satisfaction. A good understanding of mobile working / PDA devices, used to issue the work.(Training will be provided)
The successful candidate will be qualified to City & Guilds standard in their building trade (or Trades), or have significant practical heating and plumbing experience.
You will be technically skilled and carry out duties to a satisfactory standard, be able to problem solve whilst on site and be conscientious about completing work thoroughly and to target times.
A positive and professional attitude, the ability to work as part of a team and excellent customer service skills are essential.
Due to the nature of the position a full UK driving licence is essential.
