Master of Ceremonies/Event Coodinator - Alnwick Gardens

The Alnwick Garden is a truly unique setting for the most inspiring of events. Conferences and Weddings overlook one of the world's most exciting gardens, taking place in light and contemporary spaces within a captivating landscape. In the evening, drinks and dinner are served with a view of the Grand Cascade, and spill onto terraces that sparkle with thousands of twinkling lights. Striking panoramas provide the perfect backdrop to photographs, whilst guests enjoy wandering the grounds and soaking up the surroundings. The Pavilion can accommodate large, lavish occasions as well as smaller, intimate celebrations and this role is key to making the magic happen for each individually styled occasion.

Important qualities for a Master of Ceremonies include a friendly nature, a sense of humour, punctuality, exceptional organisational skills, great eye for detail, the ability to put people at ease and the ability to improvise. Also, because anything can happen at an event, a Master of Ceremonies should be able to react to emergencies quickly and a sufficient manner.

We value all applications, unfortunately due to the volume of response we are currently receiving; we are only able to contact candidates whose skills and experience most closely match the requirements of the role. We will however, hold your application on file for a period of 6 months should a suitable alternative arise.
