Milton Keynes - Chief Aircraft Engineer - GBP55k-GBP65k
My client are a well-established market leader in the aerospace industry, and are looking to recruit a Chief Aircraft Engineer. You will be responsible for supervision and overall control of all airframe/systems engineering aspects of the Aircraft Maintenance Group. This role also involves Line management of all personnel in the continuing airworthiness and maintenance organisation, covering hangar, tech records, workshops and stores.
Main Duties:
+ Form 4 holder for Part M
+ Form 4 holder for Part 145
+ Part 21G mechanical & avionic inspector
+ Responsible for all aspects of airframe/systems engineering
+ Implementation of all engineering activities on aircraft
+ Supervision and line management of all engineering staff
Key skills:
+ Previous experience within an aerospace maintenance and production organisation
+ Ideally experience of working closely with an aerospace design organisation
+ Ideally experience of working closely with Business Development to identify and secure new business
+ Working knowledge of airframe and system design
+ Detailed knowledge of airworthiness regulations
Salary/Other details:
+ The salary is circa GBP55k-GBP65k for this permanent role, depending on experience.
