The Automotive maintenance division of Questech currently have an exciting new position, located in Southampton. This is an opportunity to join one a well respected company with sites across the UK.
THE ROLE:
The right person for this role will be an apprentice trained, experienced Vehicle Mechanic and have experience supervising a team of staff, as well as liaising with customers on a daily basis. This role will be 50/50 office based and on the tools.
THE DUTIES:
- Carrying out service, maintenance and repair of vehicles as required
- Supporting a team of Technicians
- Liaising with customers, resolving problems and providing excellent customer service
- Step in and run the site independently in the absence of the Depot Manager
This role will suit a driven and focused person with a 'can-do' attitude who is looking to continue to move up in the business.
THE HOURS:
This role is working day shifts between 7am and 6pm. The Depot is open Monday to Sunday and this position will be working 5 days over 7.
THE RATE OF PAY:
You will earn a salary of between GBP24 and GBP26 (depending on experience).
Enhanced rates are available for weekend work and overtime. Excellent opportunities for salary increase as well as a performance based bonus.
