This is an excellent opportunity for a progressive studier to join a leading international businesses Central Finance Function. The role will assist in providing key financial information and analysis to ensure financial compliance, protection of financial records and support decision making.
About The Role
Reporting to the Central Finance Manager, the position will maintain the reporting and controls obligations across various international entities. As such you will be required to communicate across various departments and countries including external contacts.
Responsibilities will include:
Working on a number of the business subsidiaries in ensuring Financial Controls
Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts and financial reporting systems
Prepare and record journal entries
Provide the business with financial analysis to enhance the management and monitoring of financial planning and controls
Responsible for the monthly close process including balance sheet reconciliation and preparation of financial statements for local and IFRS compliance
Work with other business units in cash flow reporting
Provide the business with statutory financial information and adjustments for US GAAP
Support the businesses Audit compliance and processes

The ideal candidate will be working towards a recognised Accounting Qualification (ACCA or CIMA) with a strong academic record. You must hold previous experience within a finance department and be able to demonstrate progressive career development to date. You will be a strong Excel user, with good systems skills, ideally Oracle.
