ABOUT THE JOB
This is a 12-month fix term contract that has great scope to eventually become a permanent position. This role will involve setting up all the onsite health and safety for the depot and making sure that all standards are adhered to. You will be heavily involved in conducting risk assessments and completing relevant documentation. This role offers great training and development as towards the end of the 12-month period you will be trained and developed to move into an Auditing role. This is great for anyone that wants to broaden their knowledge into that area.
THE IDEAL CANDIATE
You will be perfect for this position if you have experience working as a health and safety officer in an Engineering environment. You will need to have experience of setting up health and safety procedures and conducting investigations. You must be aware of current regulations and be confident at communicating.
THE REQUIREMENTS
You're the Health and Safety Officer I am looking for if you have experience working in a Rolling Stock, Rail or Engineering environment. You will need to have your health and safety qualifications; NEBOSH or IOSH.
