Our Client is a leading employment support and training services company, helping people to transform their lives and businesses through work, training, education and financial advice. They work in partnership with governments, public sector organisations, private sector companies, voluntary and community groups to deliver a range of front line public services.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Trainer to join them where you will deliver employability courses to specific customer groups across the West Midlands. The role also involves delivering qualifications in Equality and Diversity.

As a Trainer, you will manage and coordinate courses that are part of their “Reignite” programme which is designed specifically for Lone Parents. Delivering accredited courses as part of the wider Academy profile, you will manager a number of learner cohorts, ensuring any home-based study or distance learning study is carried out in a timely manner.

Supporting and delivering quality courses to learners, you will undertake Information advice and guidance when required, and will make sure that the learner journey is appropriate from enrolment to completion.

They are looking for someone who has a Level 4 teaching qualification coupled with IAG training, or a willingness to work towards this. With experience of managing learners through distance learning, and of working with unemployed learners, you will have a motivating and driven teaching method to engage learners of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

Experience of working with disadvantaged groups such as lone parents is desired, but not essential. What is more important is that you are enthusiastic, motivated and have a desire to deliver the best employer/industry led skills training.
