An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor that will be responsible for my clients Adult Division which is the largest division.
Essential Qualifications:
•Qualified CIPD or equivalent
•Chartered Member of CIPD
Experience and skills:
•Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior HR role
•HR Policy & Procedure development
•Management of HR software systems
•Promoting Equality of Opportunity Policies and Procedures
•Legal principles of employing people
•Behavioral Profile or other Psychological Testing
•New developments in case law and legislation in both UK and EU and their impact Effective Recruitment Processes
•Must have experience in Social Care Sector because of the required knowledge of DBS s
Core hours of work Monday-Friday 9-5pm

Main Responsibility:
To work with the Head of Human Resources to develop and manage the Human Resources function and processes, including all aspects of Recruitment and Retention, Sickness/Absence Management and advise and support the operational teams
Specific Tasks:
•Employment of Staff
•Assist in developing the Human Resource strategy.
•Work closely with department managers and the Operational Teams to ensure that recruitment needs are met and managed; DBSs are processed and references sought.
•Analyse and plan recruitment needs in conjunction with Department Managers and the Operations Teams.
•Ensure the development, implementation, and awareness of appropriate people management policies that maximize the contribution of people to the organizational objective. Monitor and collate Supervisions and Appraisals
•Ensure the Human Resource Department meets the appropriate requirements of the Care Quality Commission and Ofsted's minimum regulations, Data Protection Act and Criminal Records Bureau Code of Practice.
•Supply accurate and timely advice on the rights and obligations of employers and employees arising from the contract of employment and associated legislation, bearing in mind conflicts of interest and confidentiality.
•Access, use and interpret data from a range of internal and published sources in preparing and presenting company reports etc.
•Keep up to date with all new Employment Law Legislation and advise the Business accordingly.
•Undertake the full range of day to day functions relating to recruitment, performance management, retention and release as required.
•Prepare monthly management reports i.e. disciplinaries, grievances and Long Term Sickness; Staff Turnover.
•Support the Payroll function with up to date information on Starters and Leavers.
•Provide support and advice on all Employee Relations matters. Advise on Disciplinaries and Grievances. Where appropriate attend the necessary meetings to advise and support.
•Update policies and procedures as designated by the Head of Human Resources.
•Prepare contracts of employment in a timely manner.
