Coeliac UK is the expert on coeliac disease and the gluten free diet. We are a charity providing the independent, trustworthy advice and support people need to live well, gluten free.
The role is a 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension. It works under the direction of the Commercial Services and Business Development Manager and Director of Commercial Services and Business Development to support existing key corporate partnerships and develop new business in line with Coeliac UK’s mission, values and strategy to maximise income and achieve departmental targets, with a focus on advertising and sponsorship activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and developing long-lasting and trustworthy relationships with existing Commercial Partners; identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with new Commercial Partners to maximise opportunity and income
• Generating income from the charity’s marketing opportunities including print and digital media advertising and a range of sponsorship opportunities
• Working with the Commercial team to secure income to agreed targets. Monitoring commercial activity and reporting on continued progress against quarterly targets for income and expenditure
• Working with the Commercial team to research and implement new initiatives to generate income
• Working with the Commercial team and wider charity teams on a variety of projects to help deliver on the objectives and strategic aims of the charity
Knowledge, skills and experience:

• Previous account management and sales experience
• Knowledge of the FMCG market, in particular the gluten-free market is desirable
• Understanding of commercial marketing techniques in the food sector would be an advantage
