Temporary assistant duty manager

OVERVIEW

Servest Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Duty Manager on a temporary contract to be based in our site at Barbican Centre. Reporting into the Account Manager the role is to manage / supervise a highly dynamic team of up to 18 Team Leaders and Operatives, ensuring high standards of cleaning is delivered and maintained to meet the customer's specification.

Duties will include

• To ensure that contracts are run safely and efficiently to the required standard.
• To liaise with clients and monitor site operations.
• You will train new staff and take part in regular reviews and developments when needed.
• Check all cleaning regularly and report on any defects / repairs required.
• You will complete time sheets and be in control of sickness / holiday cover as well as dealing with HR related issues.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

• Previous experience within a Supervisory Cleaning role is essential.
• Hold a clear understanding of Health and Safety legislation and to be proactive in the reduction of onsite accidents.
• Ensure employees understand and comply with the customers' security.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with the customer by ensuring that you communicate with the customer managers in the appropriate way.
• Your will work Monday – Sunday on rota basis, 40 hours per week flexibility will be needed.
