Job Opportunity: Clinical Manager - Sheffield Women's Counselling and Therapy Service

This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills, energy and experience to make a real difference to the lives of women in Sheffield who have experienced abuse and trauma. Sheffield Women's Counselling and Therapy Service (SWCTS) is a specialist service providing free, confidential counselling and therapy services for women in Sheffield who have experienced abuse or trauma. Our services are for women and girls aged 16 and over, who can self-refer. The Clinical Manager and the Business Development Manager are responsible for the co-leadership of the charity, and are supported by and accountable to our active and committed board of trustees.

As Clinical Manager, you'll be leading SWCTS' counselling and therapy service, to ensure our practice is effective, safe and responsive to the needs of women in Sheffield. You'll be resourcing and facilitating all those who provide counselling and therapy at SWCTS, to deliver a professional service and to work to organisational policy and goals. Together with the Business Development manager, you'll manage the smooth running of the service to ensure clear pathways for clients into, and through, the organisation. You'll lead in the collaborative development, delivery and ongoing evaluation of SWCTS' strategy. You'll be innovative and self-reliant with a resourceful attitude, but equally able to work collaboratively and consultatively. You'll be a clear communicator, have great organisational skills and be confident using ICT to make administrative and communications tasks easier.

Crucially, you'll care passionately about supporting women who have experienced abuse and trauma, and supporting SWCTS to deliver the best service it can. If this sounds like you, we look forward to hearing from you! SWCTS is committed to equal opportunities policies and practices and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.

A female for this role is a determining occupational requirement and is exempt from discrimination under Equality Act 2010, Part 1, Schedule 9.

Closing date: 5pm Thursday 11th May
