Web Merchandiding Manager
WEB MERCHANDISING MANAGER
You will be responsible for the implementation of group strategy and best practice for onsite optimisation, merchandising and trading. You will manage a highly motivated team to deliver continued sales growth, build AOV and to improve conversion.
You're Profile:
- Be commercially driven and have a customer first mind-set with a focus on sales, margin, traffic, conversion, AOV and customer experience.
- Influence the shape and direction of onsite merchandising and optimisation, tactically for the short term, and strategically for the medium and long term.
- Manage the quality and consistency of onsite experience and optimisation across the full onsite .com offer.
- Identify opportunities and drive new initiatives for increasing revenue using web analytics tools to improve key performance metrics such as conversion, bounce rate, AOV and page views
- Help to refine and be responsible for the implementation of our SEO strategy to effectively drive quality, relevant traffic, ensuring that we remain "Best in class"
- Successfully own and manage onsite merchandising and optimisation tools, sharing best practice with the web merchandising team
- Understand the various customers shopping missions, including understanding how devices influence the customer and championing the online customer experience with a view to improving conversion
Skills and experience:
- Commercial awareness with a trading focus, operating in a fast paced online retail environment.
- Proven experience using Google Analytics, (preferably Google 360 but not essential) to drive analysis, insight and presentation of data to inform decision making.
- A strong user of E-Commerce platforms such as ATG Web Commerce and Magento as well as optimisation and implementation tools such as Endeca, Rich Relevance, Attraqt, Fredhopper, Bloomreach or similar.
- Strong understanding of search engine optimisation and conversion rate optimisation.
- Able to motivate others and create effective networks of people who can give you what you need.
- Ability to select products, price points and promotions that will drive sales.
- Flexible, enthusiastic and motivated with the ability to work to targets in a deadline driven environment.
In return you will be offered a salary of GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 + benefits
