Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a key client based in the heart of Sheffield. Working within the Financial Sector, they are currently seeking a personable and hardworking Finance Assistant to work within their small but friendly team.
This will be a varied, challenging role working within a busy office environment. The company also operate a fantastic employee benefits package and a fun, friendly place to work!
Duties will include:
*Sales ledger
*Credit control
*Purchase ledger
*Various reconciliations
*Expense claims and credit card processing
*Assisting with VAT returns
*Maintaining fixed asset register
*Liaising with external suppliers
*Reconciliation work
*Answering the Finance telephone & directing enquiries
*Other general administration
*Maintenance of the Central Finance Email
*Support in maintaining the Finance System (scanning of purchase invoices, Supplier maintenance etc)
Essential:
*AAT qualified or part qualified with experience in a similar role
*Able to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, demanding environment
*Confident and clear communicator
*Methodical, produces accurate work and is detail conscious
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level or higher
*Flexible in approach to meet needs of the business
*Team player, good fun, hard-working and friendly!
