Investor Communications Manager, London

CDP is looking for a full-time Investor Communications Manager to work in its communications team, based at its headquarters in London. The right candidate will ideally have experience in PR, corporate communications or investor relations, with strong social media and digital communications capabilities.

This is a unique opportunity to develop skills and experience across communications in a dynamic and fast growing business-facing charity. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and have a strong track record in and passion for media relations, excellent copy writing skills and lots of ideas. This individual will play an integral role working within our communications team to support and extend both our media and online presence.

Main responsibilities include:


Helping maximise media coverage of news coming out of CDP - particularly related to investor audiences - and proactively generating new media opportunities;
Developing content for articles, blogs and marketing collateral;
Utilising social media tactics to maximise CDP's digital presence, engage new audiences;
Contributing to CDP website content;
Coordinating CDP news globally with partners;
Contributing to CDP event management; and
Finding new opportunities for speaking platforms, industry awards.


The successful candidate will have:


An understanding of and desire to work proactively to promote corporate sustainability;
Good MS Office software skills (particularly Excel) and database fluency;
Strong communication skills, both written and oral;
Meticulous attention to detail;
An understanding of or interest in financial markets and the ability to process complex information;
Excellent project management skills and an ability to meet deadlines under pressure; and
Language skills desirable though not essential.
