Cover Supervisor
Salary - NJC 22 GBP22,284 pro rata
Hours - 36 hours per week, term time only (40 weeks per year)
Required for June 2017, or sooner by negotiation

We attract students from eloquent and supportive communities across North London and Hertfordshire. We are planning an expansion in response to over-subscription.
This Role: We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to work under the guidance of teaching staff and the Cover Co-ordinator, to support students in and out of the classroom, including the supervision of whole classes during the short term absence of teachers. The successful candidate will also be expected to undertake administrative duties, support break and lunchtime duties in school and cover some examination invigilation.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work on their own initiative and should have a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent. Both non-Teachers and qualified teachers are welcome to apply. This post would suit a graduate interested in experiencing teaching and could lead to a formal training placement in the future for a suitable candidate.
