The field service engineer role is home based reporting to the area operations manager. You will be responsible for service, maintenance and breakdowns of the sustainable energy systems, inc. gas powered diesel engine, alternators, heat exchangers, pipeworks, valves, pumps, ventilation, fans, motors, control panels, 3 phase system. The units are located on client sites ranging from leisure centres, banks, hotels, offices, to hospitals. You will operate with in a designated area of Scotland, predominantly in the Edinburgh area. Occasionally you will travel elsewhere in Scotland as the work-load dictates.
We are looking for diesel engine experienced maintenance engineers or service engineers with experience of working with 3 phase 440v plant / systems. You should be familiar with 6/8/12+ cylinder diesel engines, used to being on call /call outs rotas with fault finding experience. Working in marine, rail, heavy mobile plant for construction / agricultural, off-road, Royal Navy, Merchant Navy or marine industry, REME; or CHP / biogas / generator set experienced service engineers looking for a localised, workable designated patch with sensible hours allowing a good work / life balance with great earning potential and career development opportunities in the UK and Abroad.
