Our Client, a FTSE 250 listed company within the Finance and Banking Sector, are currently seeking a confident and proactive Business Relationship Executive to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The role would involve ensuring that all inbound and outbound communication meets the required standard, as well as developing strong working relationships with key business customers. Responsibilities also include supporting business opportunities and initiatives whilst working closely with several different departments.

The ideal candidate will be bright, outgoing and self-motivated. They will have excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude, and will enjoy working with customers.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Servicing telephone enquiries from a range of business customers; acting as a point of contact for any internal or external corporate queries
- Responsibility for business accounts, including deal inputting, breaks, reversals and amendments
- Identifying prospective new customers and business opportunities
- Maintaining a customer-focused mindset ensuring that any outgoing correspondence is clear and accurate
- Maintaining a strong knowledge of organisational products whilst being able to learn new products and systems quickly
- Managing departmental inboxes and ensuring all tasks are completed in line with SLAs
- Representing the department when required in User Acceptance Testing, communicating results accordingly
- Attending meetings where relevant, acting as the departmental Champion on various topics and feeding back outputs
- Preparing and submitting Know Your Customer (KYC) reports for new customers and reviewing KYC reports for existing customers on an ongoing basis
- Escalating issues and process gaps where identified and developing a knowledge of the risks posed
- Developing good relationships with field based Business Development Managers, working closely with the team on potential customers or opportunities

Skills and experience
- Proven relationship management experience in the banking sector
- Previous project work (process improvement initiatives) in a customer service role
- Subject matter expert in one or more of the following; Pensions, ISAs, online portals within the banking sector
- A level qualifications or equivalent
- Maths & English GCSE grade C or above
- Outstanding communication skills
- Proactive attitude
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Computer literate and Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Flexible approach to work
