Aleading supplier of industrial hydraulic products, systems, and services to a range of industries including steel, aerospace, automotive and marine, requires a Hydraulic Production Technician based out of their factory in Redhill.
The role typically involves manufacturing hydraulic power units and systems from scratch using engineering drawings and schematics provided by the technical design department. The role will also involve setting up completed power units and systems ready for testing and commissioning alongside fault finding and repair work.
Ideally gained within a relevant industry, you should have experience in the following:
- Understanding of hydraulic systems and schematics
- Understanding of manufacturing drawings
- Understanding of basic electrical wiring
- Welding
- Tube bending
- Basic lathe work
- Identifying threads
You will need to be methodical and accurate with the energy and commitment to complete projects within defined timescales. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, coupled with an ability to work under pressure are necessary attributes.
The full-time role attracts a competitive salary that will be dependent on qualifications and experience. Further training will be offered as appropriate.
