The Fellows of Mansfield College intend to elect a Principal to take up office on 1 September 2018 following the retirement of Baroness Helena Kennedy. The Principal is the Head of the College, and works in partnership with the Governing Body to set and maintain the intellectual agenda for the College, and to ensure that its distinctive ethos and aspirations can flourish.
Candidates will have a distinguished record of achievement in an academic or other professional field, and must demonstrate a sound grasp of financial and strategic issues and a willingness to play an energetic part in the College's fundraising activities.
