Job Summary
As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect (Billing) you will be responsible for designing solutions and solving customer problems using our Enterprise and Cloud Billing product. You are expected to drive and participate in customer engagements from lead generation to contract signing, secure that customer pain points are resolved quality, in time & within budget. Work closely with the customer to be able to propose improvements & identify new business opportunities.
The Enterprise and Cloud Billing team is expanding the sales support team in EMEA - We are looking for a new colleague who is a seasoned customer focused solution architect - In the team we have solution architects and business consultants who together help the customer teams in qualifying, defining and developing opportunities related to ECB. We work across all selected industries (ITS, E&U, Maritime, Automotive, IoT). This role requires this person to travel 25% internationally.
Responsibilities & Tasks
• Perform business development (to grow Ericsson Enterprise and Cloud Billing business)
• Continuously identify innovate profitable business opportunities
• Build reusable demos that will be relevant in multiple customer engagements
• Support sales engagements
• Identify add-on sales opportunities
• Share project learning & contribute to Thought Leadership
Requirement
• Relevant work experience as a Pre-Sales Solution Architecture within Billing, BSS, Charging
• Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science, MBA, Informatics or equivalent
• Proven record of accomplishment in qualifying, scoping, proposing and closing deals
• Experience in B2B IT sales with large complex projects
• International Experience
• Experienced in the following concepts is important: JS/Angular, XML, SQL (MS, Oracle, NoSQL), Java, API, .NET, ASP, metadata
• Wiki documentation, GitHub, Puppet, VMWare, VPN, AWS/Azure
• Great presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Requirements management experience
• Business Development Skills
