Electrician (Industrial)
Location - On-going
Hourly Rate - GBP16.00 plus GBP20.80 OT Weekends
Duration - ongoing
Established in 1984, Cyrus's Client is an established supplier of instrumentation sales, electrical and instrumentation project management, system integration for industrial and process control. They have successfully and continually expanding their customer base, industry knowledge and expertise in a global market.
At present, they seek Electrical Technician's to be based on site in Edinburgh for an ongoing contract
In this job, you will undertake Electrical duties within recognised competence levels and disciplines.
As Electrical Technician, you will be working on the Installation and Maintenance of Electrical Installations for heavy industrial plant. Candidates with COMPEX 01 - 04 will be considered highly desirable.
You will have experience in electrical installation work and in a wide range of installation methods including conduit systems, MICC cables and armoured cables.
It would be advantageous to have knowledge of installation, maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial systems
QUALIFICATIONS
* COMPEX 01-04
* 17th Edition wiring regulations (BS7671 / City & Guilds 2382-15)
* Hold SJIB / JIB ECS Approved
* City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection certification (Preferred but not essential)
In addition, you will have prior experience working within an industrial background, including Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical and Oil & Gas. Candidates with large commercial build experience will also be considered.
This role is not suited to candidates solely with a commercial and domestic fit out background.
