Roller Shutter Engineer
We currently have a vacancy for 2 experienced roller shutter engineers. Candidates must already be senior installation/maintenance engineers within the roller shutter industry, hold a CSCS card and have proven relevant electrical training. Ideally the following qualifications will also be held: NVQ level 2 (door installation); Site supervisor (SSSTS); Site management safety SMSTS; IPAF and PASMA.
A high knowledge level of safety standards relevant to the industrial door industry is a must.
Operating nationally and a willingness to travel is also a must.
Standard hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm, but earlier starts and later finishes are a regular occurrence to meet customer and travelling demands. All travelling hours are paid. Overtime is paid at one and a half times the standard rate. Engineers are expected to be on call one week in every four and this will include a weekend.
Remuneration:
Candidates with the right experience can expect to earn a basic salary of GBP28K per annum, realistically increasing to in excess of GBP35k with overtime, callout, and staying away remuneration. A company van, smart phone, and power tools are provided.
HVP Security Shutters Ltd has been established for many years, operates nationally, and has exported to countries as far away as Cambodia. Engineers joining us not only get the opportunity to visit many places in the UK but also the occasional opportunity to travel outside the UK. All engineers, are given regular training, both in-house and externally. Applicants not currently holding a relevant NVQ2 qualification will be given the opportunity gain this qualification after successfully completing six months employment.
