Location: Europe Based (But looking for people to travel from the UK)

Rate: GBP20.00 Per Hour + Overtime + 3 month rolling contract

The Role:

We are currently looking for 10 x Vehicle Technicians to work on and off Production Line diagnosing and rectifying mechanical problems on luxury cars prior to vehicles being sent out for sale.
Striping and rebuilding of new vehicles including trim and body work, powertrain, chassis & engines
Conduct major unit and component change operations on sophisticated vehicles
Carry out service & repair operations on sophisticated vehicles.
Conduct measurements and inspections on vehicles, systems or components
Fit & remove components
Provide comprehensive technical feedback, fault identification and problem diagnosis.
Full Mechanical PDI, inspections & safety checks.

Essentials:

Time served recognised apprenticeship. (Time served apprenticeship with City & Guilds 1, 2, & 3 or NVQ 3 or equivalent) or ATA or IMI
Minimum 2 years post apprenticeship experience working on vehicles Ability to identify & diagnose vehicle faults
An excellent understanding of the fundamental principles with regard to vehicle systems & sub systems
Good verbal & written communication
Confident, enthusiasm, motivation to achieve goals, adaptable to changing circumstances and environment
Flexible approach to working requirements, including occasional shifts & weekend working.
Desirables:
Previous experience in prototype vehicle development
Experience & knowledge of IT technologies used in fault diagnosis
Experience of specialist Instrumentation and measuring equipment
Ability to fabricate / manufacture small-scale fittings and brackets for specialist fittings.
