Area Facilities Manager - West Yorkshire
GBP29.5 - GBP34k + expenses + benefits
Experienced in multi-site facilities management?
The Facilities team provide and manage the services required to operate all buildings across the West Yorkshire region. This includes consideration of the business processes, building maintenance, compliance and managing the built environment. The team also provides core Health and Safety support and advice to colleagues.
We have an opportunity for the post of Area Facilities Manager (AFM) to join our Facilities team to support properties within travelling distance of Leeds. You will be part of a group of AFMs, reporting to the Head of Property.
The AFM will be responsible for the provision and delivery of high quality facilities management to a designated area of the company.
The AFM will support the Property Department including assisting in the acquisition, disposal, refurbishment and maintenance of defined sites in accordance with the company's overall strategy and agreed procedures.
The AFM will take responsibility for ensuring that facilities management policies, procedures and controls are adhered to throughout the Divisions and buildings are maintained in an environmentally efficient and sustainable manner.
The AFM will act as Health/Safety contact for the area. Monitoring, regularly reviewing and ensuring staff comply with all relevant statutory legislation in the conduct of their business, specifically the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, associated regulations and the Health/Safety policy.
Candidates should ideally be members of BIFM, or equivalent, and qualifications in Facilities/Building Management as well as Health and Safety would be advantageous, especially Nebosh General Certificate.
You will be based at our office in Leeds and regular travel is required.
