Stores and Planning Manager

This position will focus on controlling and managing all aspects of inventory and material planning in a busy production environment.
In this position, you will???.
+ Ensure that goods received from suppliers are booked into stock, and ensure all the appropriate documentation are recorded and completed.
+ Take responsibility for the issue of raw material and components to the correct works orders.
+ Ensure kitting of items to bills of material, and accurately record the issue to production.
+ Implement, manage and control a planned perpetual inventory system.
+ Report and investigate any significant variations ( both gains and losses ) from the recorded stock quantities, supported with an explanation of the reasons for the variances.
+ Monitoring inventory levels to support the production schedule
+ Work effectively with NPI to ensure that obsolete inventory is re-energised and utilised.
+ Design, Develop and implement process & procedure to ensure a streamlined and efficient stores facility.
+ Supervise, manage and control stores staff
To be successful in your application you will need???.
+ Work experience in Materials Management, Planning, ERP systems, master scheduling
+ Previous experience in a busy engineering stores environment
+ Experience managing personnel
