2nd Chef and Kitchen Porter

NORTH FORELAND GOLF CLUB

REQUIRES A 2nd CHEF

There is an opportunity to apply for the vacant position of 2nd Chef at North Foreland Golf Club which has a restaurant with a 100 covers, two bars one which doubles up as a function room and a fully equipped kitchen. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of providing a high quality catering service to a Club or similar facility. The person appointed will be responsible to the Head Chef for the: - 

i) Catering requirements of the members, guests, visitors and private functions 7 days a week.
ii) Liaison with other departmental managers/club officials.
iii) Compliance with all health & safety/environmental health legislation.

The candidate must be a good manager and communicator, and be enthusiastic and diplomatic. A flexible approach, with a willingness to work long hours as required, is necessary. The position is on an employed basis.

KITCHEN PORTER

Also required is a part time kitchen porter to work functions during the week and at weekends.
