Forklift / Stores Person

GBP12 - GBP15 per hour

In this position you will play a key role in the booking in, distribution and inventory control of production stock, supporting the Store's Manager.
Key responsibilities;
+ Receiving and booking in of stock
+ Assisting inspection of incoming goods
+ Controlled issue of stock
+ Control and monitoring of stock movements using Navision
+ Occasional loading and unloading of goods using fork lift trucks
+ Maintenance of Kanban system (including clean room)
Experience and skills;
+ Minimum of 2 years' experience in stores environment, covering goods inward, picking, packing and despatch.
+ Experience of working with computerized stock management system is essential.
+ Methodical and accurate record keeping
+ Able to integrate well into an established team supporting and assisting colleagues
+ Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook an advantage
+ Counter balance and reach FLT trained, holding current certificates
