Accountancy Practice Specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading regional firm in Preston who are seeking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join their team.
The successful candidate to take on a varied and challenging role where you will gain exposure to a broad and interesting client base with an equal split between audit and accounts preparation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an AAT Qualified or ACA/ ACCA Part Qualified/ Student individual to join a leading and highly reputable firm where there will be outstanding opportunities for career progression and development and fully study support will be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectives
Take an active role in all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
Performing substantive testing
Preparation of year end accounts
Drafting Corporation Tax computations
Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives
Control the audit in relation to timescales, budgets and risk management procedures
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Skills:
ACA /ACCA Part Qualified/ Student
AAT Qualified also considered
Relevant external Audit experience gained within a practice environment
