A fantastic opportunity as arisen at my client school for a qualified Biology Teacher, to start in September, on a full time, permanent basis. In your role as a Biology Teacher, you will take on the responsibility of teaching the curriculum across all the Key Stages. This role would be suitable for both an experienced Biology Teacher and a Strong Biology NQT looking to complete their foundation year with a supportive school.
As a Biology Teacher, you will be required to teach at all levels, from Key stage 3 - 5, and should have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate your pupils. Biology results have been a particular highlight for the school recently, with the Science Department spearheading the schools push towards 'Outstanding' Ofsted 2011 school status.
The school have the highest expectations of their students, not only in their academic performance, but in their commitment to extra curricular activities be it in sport, drama, music or wider community service. As the successful Biology Teacher you need to ensure you have your own high expectations and set the example for students and fellow teachers.
