Digital Print Operator / Print Finisher

Due to our continued success we are now looking to recruit a Digital Print Operator/Print Finisher to work out of our Birmingham premises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating 3 Xerox Digital Presses;
• Processing, imposing and sending files to Digital Presses;
• File manipulation, where necessary;
• Customer liaison to ensure the brief is fully understood;
• Variable Data Job Processing;
• Printing jobs within the allocated timescales and to a high quality;
• Ensuring all appropriate materials are correct and present;
• Guillotine Operation;

Skills & Experience:

• Ideally candidates will have previous experience of operating Xerox machinery, however anyone with a small format digital background would be considered;
• Good understanding of operating digital machinery along with print/print finishing experience;
• Mac and PC OS Skills would be advantageous;
• Experience operating a Polar or Premier 78 Guillotine would be desirable;
• Attention to detail is essential, as is high levels of customer service;
• Ability to work as part of a team but with minimum supervision;

Terms & Benefits:

• Hours can be flexible between 7.00am and 6.00pm to suit individuals;
• Salary of up to £20k per annum;
