We are currently representing a global respected and renowned practice client in their focus to appoint an IT Risk Manager for their Dublin Advisory office. The IT advisory team focuses on a number of key areas working to minimize risk and maximize the value delivered to clients IT investment; areas include Risk Management/Transformation, Third Party Assurance (e.g. SOC reporting, regulatory reporting), Business Continuity & Resilience Assessments, Internal Audit and Financial Audit IT Support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining both externally and internally recognised technical expertise in the following areas:
* IT Risk Management/Transformation
* Operational Risk Management
* Enterprise Risk Management
* Vendor Risk Management
* Supplier Risk Management
* Effectively manage client facing delivery teams, leading and coaching more junior members engaged in assignment delivery
* Execution and delivery of client engagements
* Manage client relationships with senior executive or management team, ensuring feedback is obtained and reacted to
* Ensuring risk management procedures and quality standards are observed throughout assignment delivery
* Fostering and developing strong networks (local, area, global) with key service line champions in the global firm
The ideal candidate will be:
* University graduate
* 3-5 years of experience in IT or project management/service delivery, operational/IT risk management or consulting
* Client-oriented, professional services mind-set
* Strong execution and delivery mind-set
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
* Ability to prioritise conflicting demands and work well under pressure
* Availability to travel
* Have previous or current Irish / UK experience
* Financial services industry experience, i.e. retail banking, insurance, funds, capital markets, payment processors etc.
* Knowledge of risk related frameworks and standards (e.g. COSO, COBIT, ITIL V3, ISO 27001, SOC2, Trust Principals)
* CISA/CISSP/CISM qualification
* Previous practice experience
