We are looking for a Class 2 driver to start a permanent job with our client with an immediate start.
As a driver you will be delivering metals to different locations, accurately and on time.
You will need to develop good working relationships with colleagues and customers and have the ability to resolve queries where possible.
You will need:
* Minimum 2 year experience driving a class 2 vehicle
* Good understanding of Tacho and Working Time Regulations
* Digi Card
* CPC card
* Maximum of 6pts
Key responsibilities:
- To ensure that all collections from customers are made on time
- To ensure that all vehicles are presented to the customers in an acceptable clean and tidy condition
- Responsible for ensuring changes to any collection/delivery details are notified to the office before driver leaves customers site
- Responsible for handing all paperwork to a supervisor on returning to the yard
- Responsible for verbally briefing any agency drivers in relation to methods of work and delivery paperwork
